UPDATE 4/2/26
The bone is officially back for London Marathon 2026 🦴
I’ll be taking on the Paddock Wood Half Marathon on 8 March, where I’ll be aiming to break the Guinness World Record, as a warm-up for the London Marathon on 26 April, where I’ll be attempting to do the same over the full distance — all in the bone costume once again.
This journey is incredibly personal. My wife Kripa’s strength, resilience and positivity through everything she has faced continues to inspire me every single day. Seeing what she has overcome is what motivates me to lace up my trainers and keep going, even when the miles get tough.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has already donated and supported us over the years. Your generosity truly makes a difference. This year we’re aiming to reach £33,000 for Sarcoma UK, helping fund vital research and support for those affected by sarcoma.
Every donation, no matter the size, means more than I can ever put into words. Thank you for being part of this journey 💙
**UPDATE 31/3/25
Less than 4 weeks to go until the bone will be back on the streets of London!!
Thank you so much to everyone who has donated already. We hit the £20K mark last month which is amazing. But we want keep to pushing and raise even more for this great cause. Sarcoma UK is a charity that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by Sarcoma and campaigns for better treatments.
It is a cause that is very close to my heart, my amazing wife had her second major surgery in January to remove a liposarcoma. Her strength, drive and positivity to beat this disease is truly inspiring. This has given me the motivation to put the costume on again this year and try and hit our new target.
Any donations will hugely appreciated. Many thanks.
**UPDATE 2025
The bone will be back for the London Marathon in 2025!!
I didn't quite reach my fundraising target in 2024 so the bone will be back in April 2025 to try and break the £20,000 mark.
This is a cause very close to my heart and I am even more determined to raise vital funds for Sarcoma UK this year.
Please consider making a donation to help support this important cause**
Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. I am excited to announce that I will be participating in the London Marathon 2024 as part of Team Sarcoma. This marathon is not just a personal challenge for me, but an opportunity to raise awareness and funds for Sarcoma UK, a national charity that supports those affected by sarcoma cancer.
Sarcoma is a rare type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult to diagnose and one of the hardest to treat. Every day, 15 people in the UK are diagnosed with sarcoma - approximately 5,300 people each year. This is why I am advocating for this cause and asking for your support.
By donating to my fundraiser, you can help fund vital research, keep the specialist Support Line open, and raise awareness to improve treatment and standards of care. Your contribution will make a significant impact on those affected by sarcoma cancer.
This cause is particularly close to my heart as my wife Kripa was diagnosed with liposarcoma in January 2023. Thanks to early detection and treatment, she is now cancer-free. Sarcoma UK provided invaluable support during this challenging time, which is why I am committed to giving back through this fundraiser.
My fundraising target is ambitious - £20,000 - but with your help, I know we can achieve it together. To make things even more challenging (and fun!), I will be running the marathon in fancy dress as a bone.
Please consider making a donation today and join me in supporting this important cause.
